Through Run4unity, the Young for Unity, will host a 24-hour worldwide relay race, which will cover the earth with a rainbow of peace and unity, we commit ourselves to living and spreading the Golden Rule:

“Do to others as you

would have them

do to you.”

It’s a simple rule urging us to love everyone and to be the first to love. This is our contribution towards peace

and universal brotherhood.

GIVE WITH JOY
Living the “culture of giving” helps us share with others what we have and who we are. Let’s live and spread a communion of goods that will impact the whole world.

DISCOVER ONE ANOTHER
Let’s make the effort to get to know people who are different from us and to discover the unique gifts that each one possesses. Lets look at what unites us. Starting in our own neighborhoods, let’s transform our cities and make them a part of this united world.

BUILD PEACE
Respond to hatred with forgiveness. Take a moment of silence each day to pray for peace.

BELIEVE IN LIFE
Let’s be conscious of the value and beauty in all ages of human life. Let’s respect our own bodies and those of others to show the world the goodness and truth that's within each one of us.

RESPECT NATURE
The earth has been given to us as a gift. Let’s respect it, care for it, and leave it even more beautiful for future generations.

CREATE A NETWORK
Let’s form a network with other young people so we can help one another, and so that all young people have a chance to go to school.

SPEAK OF A UNITED WORLD
Let’s use the media as a tool for spreading positive ideas and for building a united world.

We are the Young for Unity of the Focolare Movement, belonging to different Christian churches and religions, united by one goal: to make universal brotherhood a reality.
